Game Trailer: Killzone

I came across this Video Game trailer on GameSpy (via clearout.blogspot.com). It's called 'Killzone' and may come out on PS3 sometime in 2006. If the whole contents of the preview is real-time game-play then "DAMN THAT IS AWESOME!". Watch the whole trailer in Hi-res(640 x 480) on GameSpy.com or Right-Click to download to your PC. It was only a matter of time that someone would come up with a better game like 'Half-Life 2' that is so much close to the real-world.

  2. Its an awesome video but I have some bad news. Its a pre-rendered video. Its not gameplay. By the way if you've played the first Killzone on the PS2 then you won't be all that excited about it coz the first game SUCKED!! Sorry to burst your bubble. But anyway its a great video.

  4. ccording to PSM [1], the footage was in fact rendered in-engine on a PS3 alpha kit at ~5 FPS (frames per second), recorded, and sped up to 60 FPS for the presentation. Phil Harrison stated that everything was done to the PS3's hardware specifications, and it was also stated that the development hardware was only 75% of the power that the actual PS3 will have. It has been hyped up to be an influential game in the First Person Shooter genre of games, due to its realistic physics, non-repeating movements, and graphics.

    got that from wikipedia
